Our Senior Management Team has decades of experience in the technology sector and more specifically, managed IT services.

The MSPWorx team is united in our Service Promise – namely to help our customers do a better job of supporting their own (external & internal) customers from a technology standpoint.

Mark Scott
Mark ScottCEO & Founder
As CEO, Mark’s responsibilities include strategy, supporting sales, marketing and our technology roadmap, along with M&A and corporate finance.
Over the past eighteen years he has launched three companies focused on business-to-business services, including two firms in the managed IT services industry. MSPWORX, a national managed services provider, annually named to the MSPmentor 100 and recognized as Ottawa’s 2013 fastest growing and company of the year. In 2000, N-able Technologies (sold to Solarwinds), a global provider of remote monitoring and management software that pioneered MSP business transformation.

Mark is a chartered professional accountant and a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Finance and Economics. He currently serves on the board of directors of the MSPAlliance and presents regularly at industry events on technology and entrepreneurship.

Janice Siddons

As COO, Janice is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations at MSPWORX with a clear mandate on team motivation. Our customer experience is Janice’s #1 focus!
Janice has been in the managed services industry since 2000 in senior leadership roles from Channel Chief and VP & GM at N-able to COO of MSPWORX, as a key executive in both companies from inception. Janice is a graduate in financial management and has been recognized as a CRN Channel Chief, as one of the Top 50 most influential channel executives, was named to Ottawa’s Forty Under 40 in 2013 and to MSPmentor’s Global 250 Executive listing in 2014.

Most recently Janice was recognized by Computer Dealer News as one of the most influential women in the channel as a CDN Woman of the IT Channel 2014 Honouree.

Dan Hilton

As CFO, Dan is responsible for managing corporate finance, governance, investor relations, human resources and sits on our Board of Directors.

Dan is a seasoned CPA/CA with extensive experience as an executive and financial professional, including taking several technology companies public and also growth through mergers & acquisitions.  Dan has joined us from the TSX-listed public company Datawind and served as CEO of The Conservative Party of Canada during Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s years in office.  Dan holds MBAs from Cornell University & Queens University.

Marco La Vecchia

As EVP & GM – Managed IT, Marco is responsible for executing MSPWORX’s North American sales strategy for Managed Services and Managed ITSM, forging and fostering new strategic channel relationships as well as building and guiding our sales team.

Marco is a Managed Services veteran with more than 15 years of progressive experience in channel and enterprise sales. Most recently he served as VP of Sales at AVG Technologies where he led a large team in North and South America. His strong strategic planning, organizational and interpersonal skills complement his natural leadership abilities. A respected industry champion, Marco is a recognized speaker at events across Canada and the United States. In 2015, Marco was named a CRN Channel Chief — the who’s who in channel management executives.

Ryan Vallee

As Senior VP of Technology, Ryan is responsible for product strategy and the technology roadmap development for CareWorx’s IT Service Management (ITSM), Senior Care and Managed Services offerings.

Ryan has a true passion for shaping innovative new products and services to drive efficiencies and solidify competitive differentiations. He has established himself as a technology and cultural ambassador within the IT services and IT securities market through a truly unique perspective on design, deployment and integration.

Ryan has previously played an integral role in the MSP market’s disruption – through shaping the innovation behind N-able’s Remote Monitoring and Management tool when it was acquired by SolarWinds.  He then played a key role in the design, development and realization of cyber security solutions at AVG technologies and continued to push those boundaries when acquired by Avast.
